It is very likely that many women seem to find something they hate about every single inch of their body. From the movie "Mean Girls" we all learned, if we didn't know already, that there isn't just two "flaws" that can be picked out. Women will find multiple reasons why they won't wear shorts, short sleeve shirts, open-toed shoes, hats, red lipstick, and whatever else we seem to find a reason for hiding.
But it is time to stop over analyzing yourself.
How? The answer is simple.
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT.
There is no wrong way to be you. There is no wrong way to have a body. Dress how you want, show what you want, and don't give an item of clothing or makeup a second thought because of a comment made to you in the 2nd grade.
We all have so-called "flaws" which in turn make us unique and perfect. My legs are pretty much see-thru. From the tip of my hip to the bottom of my heel, you can literally make a road map out of my veins. I have spider veins and varicose veins that decorate my thighs. I began to hate them when I would see woman wearing shorts and short dresses without a vein in sight. And then I stopped. I thought to myself, "why am I hating something that I can't change? Something that makes me, me?"
From that day forward I promised myself that I would love all of my so-called imperfections without giving it a second thought.
So ladies, and potentially gentlemen, PLEASE love yourselves. You only have one life to swim in the ocean with the salt water hitting your stretch marks, one life to feel the sun kiss your cellulite thighs, one life to make all the memories you can. Stop letting little things stop you from taking charge of your life.
